All military installations have electrical distribution systems and requisite protection equipment to safely deliver electricity from the larger public electric grid to buildings and facilities within the fence-line. These systems, whether owned and operated by DoD or managed by private companies, are critical assets that integrate into all long-term planning for installation infrastructure investments. ESTCP is demonstrating improvements to electrical system reliability and resilience through the integration of new technologies, better planning, and improved operational approaches.
