ESTCP has selected fifty-one new projects to begin in FY 2022. These projects responded to the FY 2022 ESTCP solicitation for Environmental and Installation Energy and Water Technologies.

Topics addressed by these projects include management of impacted groundwater; technology transfer approaches; energy resilience; moisture control in buildings; affordable energy assurance at national guard readiness center and installations; technology demonstrations of energy efficiency and energy resilience solutions; planning for electrical vehicle infrastructure and management; detection, classification, localization, and remediation of military munitions in underwater environments; climate model comparative assessment for infrastructure applications; improved threatened, endangered, and at-risk species' monitoring tools; and demonstration and validation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)-free fire suppression alternatives.
